UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU’RE LEARNING FROM
Curiosity, with care.
Original explanations. Clear sources. A complete foundational curriculum.
The MyAnatomy approach
Learn one concept. Understand it clearly. Test your knowledge. Track your progress. MyAnatomy connects anatomy, physiology, medical imaging and foundational clinical ideas through 240 short articles in 24 modules and 77 lessons.
This is a comprehensive introduction, rather than an exhaustive medical-school atlas or a diagnostic tool. Five minutes is an approximate total learning time; unfamiliar topics and diagram study can take longer.
Editorial standards and review limits
The explanations, questions and schematic diagrams were authored for this project with AI assistance, using the references listed in each article. Content has been checked for source consistency and structural completeness. This is not independent clinician or anatomist certification. No professional medical reviewer is implied. Scientific accuracy requires ongoing scrutiny; use the linked authoritative sources when a detail matters.
Source review date: 26 October 2026. Clinical topics explain mechanisms and do not prescribe individual diagnosis, medicines or treatment. Diagram proportions and positions may be simplified, and schematics are labelled accordingly.
Sources
Core anatomy and physiology references include OpenStax Anatomy & Physiology 2e, with additional authoritative references linked at article level. References are links to supporting material; the full reference works are not mirrored for offline use.
Image and illustration credits
MyAnatomy module illustrations and article concept diagrams are original vector schematics. They are included locally. Any external radiographs, scans and micrographs carry individual credits below and in the source asset register.
Content and software licences
Original application code is supplied under the MIT licence. Original educational text and vector schematics are supplied under CC BY 4.0. Third-party images retain their individual licences. Source references do not transfer their licences to original explanations; copied or adapted third-party assets require their own attribution. See the included LICENCES.md and asset register.
Privacy and A$0 operation
There are no learner accounts, advertising, tracking scripts or paid APIs. Quiz answers, history and bookmarks are stored locally in IndexedDB. Hosting providers may retain ordinary access and security logs. Progress exports remain on your device unless you choose to share them.
The static build can run on Cloudflare Pages Free or GitHub Pages using a platform address and HTTPS. No purchased domain or backend subscription is required. Free plans can change; the source and build are portable. No runtime payment details are requested by MyAnatomy.
Curriculum completeness
This build contains 240 unique articles and 779 glossary terms. Shared articles use one canonical record, quiz and progress state. Twelve required shared placements give 252 article placements without double-counting the 240 unique articles.
